Sponsorship Opportunities for the 2021 Heritage Hill Annual Weekend Tour of Homes

The Heritage Hill Association announces that the 51st annual Weekend Tour of Homes originally scheduled for May 16-17, 2020 will be canceled to accommodate the State of Michigan’s response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The board and staff of HHA have tour-goers and volunteers’ safety as the highest priority.

“This was a difficult decision, as we know that the tour is one of the most anticipated events in the City of Grand Rapids and draws people from the 4-state area,” says Wendy Verhage Falb, Board Chair, of the Heritage Hill Association. “This is the first time in the tour’s 51 year history that we have had to cancel it. The board and staff felt the community must come together to keep everyone safe.”

The tour was started as a fundraiser to help neighbors organize around bulldozers planned for 75% of the neighborhood in 1969.The Association continues to bring neighbors together around issues related to urban planning, land use, public safety, and overall quality of life issues.

Ticket holders and sponsors may turn their purchased tickets and sponsorships as a charitable contribution to the Heritage Hill Association and receive a tax deduction receipt.  

“As a nonprofit organization, we rely on ticket revenue to support our efforts to build community and foster a neighborhood where people want to work and play,” adds Amanda Cormier, Executive Director. “Please consider turning in your tickets as a charitable donation to the organization. We are grateful for your support in these trying times to keep a thriving sense of community.”
